Our well-known Jumping Goat vineyard located in the AVA of St. Helena is one of the standout wines in our portfolio. A deep garnet purple color boasting aromatics of raspberry, dark cherry and chocolate with floral notes of rose petal, lavender and violet - an extremely perfumed wine.
Our Estate vineyard located adjacent to the winery in the AVA of Saint Helena is a two-acre parcel with vines dating over 30 years. Soils are rich with obsidian and loam which is quite evident in the aromatics of this wine. A dark garnet color with aromatics of savory tobacco, cocoa nib and fragrant earth.
Our fourth vintage from this vineyard located on Pritchard Hill at 1200 feet in elevation above Oakville. We continue to learn what kind of wines we can craft with these three varieties from this particular site. The aromatics of blackberry, tobacco, black pepper, crushed wet rock and dense earthiness leap from the glass.
Both the Cabernet franc and Merlot were the first to be planted on this parcel of land in 2004. Possessing a deep garnet color, the aromatics boast rich chocolate, dark red fruit and exotic spice coming from this cooler vintage.
Our seventh vintage of mountain fruit Sauvignon blanc to be produced from our vineyard at 2300 foot elevation in Knights Valley. Aromatics abound with white flowers, passionfruit, honeysuckle, and fresh pears.
This one acre planting of Chardonnay on our high elevation vineyard is truly beginning to produce a wine that can rival some of the most established Chardonnay producers. Planted in 2012 on the southwest slope of the property, the vines only yield two tons of fruit. Aromatics that leap from the glass of banana, honeysuckle, vanilla, with a creamy nose and a subtle . . .
Having fallen in love with the Merlot from this vineyard, we continue to dedicate ourselves to producing this single varietal bottling. Boasting a deep garnet purple color, the aromatics hit full on with black cherry, tobacco, chocolate and savory herbs.
Our eighth vintage from this vineyard that meets the high standards needed to produce a Syrah of distinction. The nose screams Old World with its rich, musky earthiness and notes of violet and gaminess.
Our third vintage for a classic Rhône style blend from the Paderewski Vineyard in Paso Robles. The aromatics of strawberry, raspberry and current tea, layer with violet flowers and creaminess - an amazingly expressive wine.
Our 23rd vintage of this wine and it is still a joy to produce. There is a reason our CJ has such a strong following and this wine does not disappoint. The nose is intense and powerful with black currant, raspberry and fresh strawberries along with hints of crushed rocks.
